MLP’s Property Management Division

In June of 2022, MLP purchased, SGS Property Services, LLC from long time affiliate, Glenn Fritz. SGS is a property management company based on Greenville, SC and has managed MLP’s affordable housing projects for the past several years.
MLP’s acquisition of SGS allows us to provide better and more streamlined management of our affordable housing properties. Moreover, we believe that there is a significant need for property management services in the Carolinas making this one of the fastest growing divisions of our organization. We expect it to continue to increase our community outreach, responsiveness, productivity and bottom line for our affordable housing communities and by extension MIG.

Peter Morgan Talks Affordable Housing

Peter Morgan has been involved in creating, developing, and managing business enterprises for over forty‐five years. Over these years, Peter has been involved in many real estate companies in New Hampshire. Peter was the developer and owner of The Highlander Inn and Highlander Airport Parking located at the Manchester‐Boston Regional Airport. After selling the Highlander property in 2010, Peter began focusing his efforts and capital in the Carolinas. Peter and MLP have invested in several commercial, industrial, and residential projects along with partners in North Carolina and South Carolina. Within the past decade, Peter and MLP have focused on investing in single tenant assets, grocery‐ anchored shopping centers, and other distressed commercial assets in the Carolinas. Peter is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and served on active duty until 1970 including time as a navy instructor. Today, he works through this business and his nonprofit organization, Morgan Franklin Foundation to help others build wealth, become homeowners and increase their financial literacy.
