Featuring Eric Fox
Staff Accountant for Morgan Legacy Partners
How long have you been involved with MLP?
Since January 2021
What do you do for MLP?
I reconcile accounts, back up and transfer QuickBooks desktop files to the online version ones, and assist in financial report creation.
How and why did you become involved with MLP?
I was looking for new opportunities and challenges in my career and saw that MLP had a position open. I did some research on the company and liked what I saw, and I was fortunate enough to land the position.
Tell me about your work history and how you got to where you are now.
I had an internship my last year of college and after I graduated in 2018, I went to work for the Goffstown School District as a staff accountant. I started looking for new opportunities to learn more when I found Morgan Legacy Partners.
What interests you the most about your current role with MLP?
I think there is so much to learn here. There are so many people with years and years of experience in management and investment that the learning opportunities seem endless. The fact that there is also a nonprofit organization that is focused on teaching financial literacy and competence is what sealed the deal for me. I think financial literacy is one of the most important topics everyone should master.
When you are not working, what can we find you doing?
I like to relax by playing videogames with friends, listening to or playing music, and hanging out with my dog. Before COVID, my friends and I would go to amusement parks and we were planning whitewater rafting and skydiving trips.
Tell us a fun, random fact about yourself!
In 2019 I went skydiving with a couple of friends. It’s the first and only time I’ve ever been on an airplane.
